It’s been widely reported that Irish tv star Laura Whitmore caught the eye of Hollywood legend Leonardo DiCaprio at the BAFTAs – but apparently he’s been crushing on for quite some time now.
According to reports, the Oscar nominee has been “taken” with the Bray beauty for a number of weeks now, after first spotting her at the annual amfAR gala in New York.
Heat Magazine writes that the Golden Globe-winning actor “seemed to really fancy her” on the night, but unfortunately for him she’s loved up with musician Rory Williams, who she’s been dating for eight months.
Over the weekend, Laura finally opened up about that night at the BAFTAs, where she partied the night away with Leo in his hotel room with some pals including supermodel Lily Donaldson.
Denying she spent the night with the Titanic heart-throb, the 30-year-old said it was harmless fun. “Everyone was just having fun – there was a lot of dancing,” she said.
However, according to an insider: “Leonardo was completely taken by Laura. She was playing it cool but he made a beeline for her,” an insider told The Sun. “[They were] getting on like a house on fire. Leo made it clear he wanted her to come back upstairs to his suite at the hotel to continue the party afterwards.”
All we know is that we’re TOTALLY jealous.
