Aoibhín Garrihy has revealed she barely gets to spend anytime with her new husband, John Burke, because of her gruelling rehearsal schedule for Dancing with the Stars.
The actress, who married her long time love in Co.Clare last September, is currently taking part in RTE’s Dancing with the Stars and she it hotly-tipped to win the coveted glitter ball – but her front runner status comes at a price.
Since starting the show, the blonde beauty hasn’t been able to spend much time with John because of her demanding rehearsal schedule.
“Taking part in the show has been such a wonderful experience, but I’ve had to make small sacrifices like not being home very often in recent weeks,” she told the Irish Mail On Sunday.
“We’re only married six months and we have never seen as little of each other since we got married.”
However, Aoibhín will get the chance to make up for lost time, as she’ll be travelling with him to Asia as he prepares to climb Mount Everest.
“I’m going to trek to base camp with John. I hate the idea of saying goodbye to him at the airport.”
