Aoibhin Garrihy has opened up about her dream tv job.
Following her recent success on Dancing with the Stars plus her time on Fair City, the 30-year-old has ‘been bitten by the tv bug’ and hopes to continue her career in front of the camera over the coming years.
The former soap star would like to try something completely different in the future and venture into lifestyle shows.
“Acting is my first love,” she exclusively tells VIP Magazine.”I’m auditioning all the time and I have my drama school in Ennis, but I have other parts of the brain that I want to tap into – dad’s business [Dublin Bay Cruises] was probably the start of that.
“I love the creative side of business, I love working outdoors. I’m passionate about rural Ireland.”
Aoibhin added, “I’ve definitely been bitten by the tv bug. I’d love to do Nationwide, but Mary Kennedy is doing a fantastic job, so I’m not trying to edge in there.
“I just love the idea of promoting local businesses and things like that. Who knows, maybe in 20 or 30 years!”
