We were so sad to say goodbye to Anne Cassin on Dancing with the Stars this week.
She and Olympian Philip Doyle went head-to-head during the first dance-off of the season.
It was ultimately the Nationwide presenter who was sent home by the judges, however, Anne isn’t thinking of any of the negative as she finishes up her journey on Dancing with the Stars.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, she shared one of the highlights of her time on the show.

“I have to say what’s been overwhelming about this whole Dancing With The Stars is that I have received such messages of goodwill from people around the country. That has really warmed my heart. It’s meant an awful lot.
“While you’re in the maelstrom of steps and music and hair and makeup, you actually remember that you’re communicating to an audience all over the country, and that’s a real honour.”
She shared with us: “Absolutely, I’m sad to be going home. But there’s nothing I can change, it’s a reality. I’m just looking back on what’s been an absolutely, incredibly happy experience.”

However, she added: “I’m very proud of what I did.”
We’re used to seeing Anne presenting Nationwide and we got to see a very different side of her over the course of the last six weeks.
“Leaning in to being more expressive, that’s been a part of the challenge. Because in my professional and probably my personal life, I’m fairly lowkey. So to become more expressive was one part that I tried to lean into,” she said.
Dancing with the Stars airs Sundays at 6:30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player
