Now, the new mum is opening up about her postpartum fitness journey.
Taking to Instagram, Anna shared a video about her disdain for “bouncing back,” a phrase mums often hear after giving birth.
Starting off, Anna said: “There’s nothing instant about fitness once you’ve had a baby and bouncing back implies it is instant.

“It’s about building ourselves back up. Literally one brick at a time.
“Personally, I found it really hard to adjust to the fact that I haven’t been able to exercise in the last few weeks and exercise is so important for me, for my body, but also for my mind.”
Anna then added how challenging she found the last few weeks, but reassured her followers that when it comes to postpartum fitness everyone is different and heals in different ways.
Just recently, Anna admitted that she went to see her Women’s Health physio who told her that she wasn’t ready yet for a full-on exercise.
“It’s taken so many months to grow my baby, now it’s time for me to respect my body and let it heal properly,” she shared.
Anna also opened up about feeling frustrated at the fact that she can’t fit back into her clothes, due to her body changing during and after pregnancy.
Adding: “So just go easy on ourselves and use fitness to get out in the fresh air, feel better about ourselves. Use it as a social tool and for our mental health as much as our physical health.
”But do not put yourself under pressure,” she concluded.
