Anna Geary has revealed she’s found her dream wedding dress.
The Cork native is set to tie the knot with long-term love Kevin Sexton this October, and can’t wait to walk down the aisle in her new designer frock.
After comparing a range of styles, materials and colours, she found her perfect guna, and said yes to the dress.
“The day has finally come. I decided on my dress a few weeks ago and today we’re having my first dress fitting. I’m excited and nervous at the same time,” she said.

“I think everyone is different and you have to stick with your own style. It’s not about what people will love, it’s about what you will love, and what your partner at the top of the aisle will love.
“I took my time with it. I tired on loads of different styles and went to places all over the country. I don’t think you need to have your dress twelve months before the wedding.”
While she didn’t want to say too much about the dress, Anna did admit it was important for her to wear an Irish designer.
“We have so many fabulous designers in our country, so why not showcase them,” she said.

Anna and Kevin will be returning to the Castlemartyr Hotel for their big day, where they got engaged last September.
The pair were enjoying a break in Co.Cork, and while on a stroll around the grounds, he decided to get down on one knee.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, the beautiful bride-to-be said, “It was a complete shock, I didn’t expect it. Kev is unpredictable so I knew he would always catch me off guard.
“It happened at Castlemartyr Hotel, while out for a walk; casual clothes, no one around, very relaxed and no fuss. It was simple, but perfect. It was exactly how he knew I would want it.”
The hotel staff were in on Kevin’s plan and helped him make the moment as special as possible.
“The staff had hidden a bottle of champagne for us on our walk back,” she said with a smile.
“It was lovely. We sat on cushions by the lake and toasted [our news]. It was special. It’s still sinking in.”
