Anna Geary has welcomed her first child with her husband, Kevin Sexton.
The sports star shared the news on social media this week with a black and white of their newborn in the hospital.
“Arrived slightly ahead of schedule, he couldn’t wait to get here,” she wrote on social media.
“Welcome to the world, Ronan Sexton. 01/08/2023.”

She was inundated with congratulatory messages from her pals, with Marty Morrisey writing: “Wow!!!! Congratulations ….Anna & Kevin!! Welcome to the World Ronan Sexton !! I expect you will be coming to the matches with me very soon!!
“What about the Camogie Final on Sunday Ronan??? I’m looking forward to meeting you …you little Legend! So happy for you guys …Love to you all. xxx.”
Mairead Ronan commented: “Congratulations Anna and Kev.. Ronan Sexton sounds like he’s destined for rugby greatness x”.
“Oh my God, he’s PERFECT!! Congratulations you three!” Maia Dunphy added.
Anna and husband Kevin took to Instagram back in February to announce they were expecting their first child together.
Revealing their good news, the couple posted a photo of a baby grow, which read Togging Out in 2023, along with a cute stuffed bunny rabbit and a baby hurl.
Anna captioned the post: “A new teammate coming in 2023.”
Her comments were flooded with congratulatory messages from the likes of Muireann O’Connell, Uno Healy and Dermot Bannon.
Anna and Kevin got married back in 2019 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Killeagh, Co. Cork, after almost three years together.
