The presenter announced to followers on Twitter that she will be leaving Ireland AM and taking on a new role with The Communications Clinic.
In the tweet she said, “After many awesome years reporting & then anchoring @irelandamvmtv an opportunity has come up to work with the incredibly talented team at The Communications Clinic.
“This, along with the fact that my ‘side-hustle’ business http://littlebliss.com has grown exponentially & become much more than that, means I’ll soon be moving on.
“Thanks to all of you who have tuned in along the way, it’s been quite the journey. I have other tv projects that I’m excited about in the near future. For now, you’ll have to put up with me on AM until Sept 19th.”
In a statement on The Communications Clinic’s website, they revealed that Anna’s new role is consultant in the Training Division.
Speaking on the new job in the statement Anna said, “The Communications Clinic is widely regarded as the best in the business, not just because they understand the power of effective communications but because they understand people.
“I am delighted to be joining an impressive line-up of highly skilled broadcasters and gifted public relations and communications experts and to seeing some of my television skills transfer to help others reach their goals and potential when communicating, in whatever format that might be.”
Anna began presenting Ireland AM in 2008, before moving on to host Weekend AM every Saturday and Sunday morning when it launched in 2015 and then returned to Ireland AM in 2018, so has had a long history with the show.
We will miss having her on our screens but wish her the best of luck going forward!
