It’s been four months since Angela Scanlon landed her very own radio spot on Virgin Radio UK, after taking over from Graham Norton.
Yet, despite getting on brilliantly, the Irish broadcaster recently admitted that she still finds the prospect of being on the radio regularly “wild”.
Opening up to her fans during a recent Instagram Q&A session, Angela shared how she was finding radio life.
“Radio life is good,” she said with a smile.

“I absolutely love it. I always have loved radio,” she emphasised.
“And some of my favourite broadcast idols are one that have done radio for years.
“So to be doing it regularly is wild,” she added.
Angela now presents her very own breakfast show on Virgin Radio on Saturday and Sunday from 7am until 10am.
Sharing the news at the time she said: “I know how many of you have dreamt about waking up to my husky dulcet tones, well dreams come true gang!!
“I’ll be getting up with you every weekend on Virgin Radio & I am inappropriately excited.
“Stick the kettle on!”
There’s no stopping what this woman can do.
