Angela Scanlon is heading to the United States to film a documentary about Donald Trump.
The BBC documentary will focus on Trump’s rise to stardom from businessman to presidential candidate.
For the doc, which is named Trump’s Youngest Superfans, Angela will meet some of the entrepreneurs die-hard young fans and will be introduced to both the positive and negative aspects of his campaign.
A spokesperson for the BBC revealed details about the eye-opening programme, which will explore how different social groups feel about the controversial republican candidate.
“In Trump’s Youngest Superfans, Angela Scanlon meets with devoted and passionate young people stumping for Trump.
“From some of his youngest fans in the USA Freedom Kids group, primary school children who sing patriotic songs at Trump rallies, to young supporters from the LGBT and African American community, Angela explores what motivates them to campaign for Donald Trump and why his message appeals to them.
“Angela also meets those from a darker side of Trump’s fandom whom some have described as the ‘new generation of white nationalists.’”
This sounds like it’s going to be very interesting.
