Andrew Maxwell has spoken out about his relationship with Ian Wright on this year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.
The Irish comedian became the second person to leave the jungle this season, as he lost out to the public vote last night.
After reuniting with his wife, and enjoying his first proper meal in over two weeks, the 44-year-old opened up about former footballer Ian Wright, who he had become involved in a controversial ‘bullying’ row with.
Speaking about the arguments the pair had, which saw over 30 people complain to OfCom over the ‘perceived bullying’ of Andrew, the star says the pair are still on good terms!
“You’re eating such a small amount of food and you’re not sleeping very well so it’s bound to happen,” he told Lorraine Kelly.
“Me and Ian love each other, we got on like a house on fire. It’s just we’re really, really similar men.”
“Everyone missed their loved ones but me and Ian are probably the most emotional men in the camp. Overly emotional men.”
“Our emotions were in sync so when he was sad I was also sad and that’s what happened.”
Andrew left the jungle after 16 days, and has been enjoying settling back into reality with his wife Suraya!
