Yes, earlier this year RTÉ confirmed that an Irish version of the reality show was in the works.
Immediately, thoughts turned to who could be Ireland’s answer to Claudia Winkleman.
And they’re big shoes to fill.
It looks like the series has found the woman for the job!
The Irish Sun reports that Amy Huberman is in talks to helm the series.
We wonder will she get a fringe for it…
According to the source: “Amy’s on screen persona sometimes comes across sweet, but viewers are going to see something darker when they watch her hosting The Traitors.”
The producers of the Irish series, Kite Entertainment, have already worked with Amy twice before on Big Year In Big School, and in Prime Video’s LOL Last One Laughing, which was hosted by Graham Norton.
Amy was the surprise guest narrator for the series finale of Virgin Media’s Gogglebox Ireland which aired earlier this month.
Well, we’ll just have to wait and see who is announced as the presenter when the series airs next year.
