Amy Huberman has been tipped as a “major threat” to win an Emmy award this year.
Scott Feinberg, awards critic for The Hollywood Reporter has included Amy in a list of potential nominees ahead of the announcement on July 13th.
The 38-year-old actress plays Tara in the hit RTE drama Striking Out, alongside Neil Morrisey, which was picked up by US broadcaster Acorn TV.
The Hollywood critic revealed his predictions for the awards and according to Independent.ie, Amy was named as a front-runner in the Best Actress category.
The mother of two is named among a host of other acclaimed actresses such as Felicity Huffman, Viola Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Jessica Froggat.
