With Glastonbury just around the corner, this year’s lineup is one of the most diverse, with over 2,000 acts from all different categories.
Here are some Irish acts to keep an eye out for! It’s a good day to be Irish!
Two Door Cinema

This band from County Down, made up of Alex Trimble, Sam Halliday and Kevin Baird, are no stranger to the stages at Glastonbury.
They made their first tribute to the festival in 2009. The award-winning band can be seen on the Other Stage at 7:45pm on Sunday 29th.
Kneecap

The rap trio, Kneecap will be taking to the stage for their second Glastonbury performance this year.
The three artists, Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap, and DJ Próvaí created the group in 2017, and their music is a mixture of English and Irish language.
They can be seen on the Westholt Stage at 4pm on Saturday 28th.
Fontaines D.C.

The band, composed of Grian Chatten, Carlos O’Connell, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan and Tom Coll, was formed in 2017 when the lads met in college in Dublin.
Their most popular songs include Starbuster, Favourite and I Love You. Fontaines D.C. can be seen on the Park Stage on Friday 27th at 11pm.
The Mary Wallopers

The Mary Walloperers are a contemporary Irish folk group, originating in Dundalk.
Their rendition of Codliver Oil and The Orange Juice gained traction on social media over the past few months and have become a fan favourite.
The Mary Wallopers can be seen at the Park Stage on Friday 27th at 3:15pm.
Kingfishr

Kingfishr are an Irish indie folk group from Limerick.
Their song Killeagh reached number 1 on the Irish Singles Chart in May 2025. Kingfishr will be on the Avlon Stage on Sunday 29th at
12:35pm.

Irish singer CMAT is to play the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury this year.
The venue, which holds a capacity of 120,000 is recognised as one of the most famous festival stages in the world. Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, took to Instagram to share the news.
“Thank you Glastonbury for believing in us, we will not let you down.”
CMAT will take the stage at 1:30pm on Friday for an hour-long set.
