As hard as it is to believe, celebrities are just like us!
Yes, they too experience good days and bad days, and one such celebrity who is all too familiar with both is the wonderful Aisling Bea.
Now, luckily for us, the Irish comedian and actress is sharing what she does to tackle those “not so hot” days.
Taking to Instagram Aisling wrote: “Behind all the jazzy highlights is a folder of all the not so great days, which I have sent straight to the FBI for safe keeping, but here are some (mostly) free or cheap things I’ve found to have helped this year on the not so hot days.”

Aisling’s first recommendation is a jaw massage. So if you’re a jaw clencher like many people are, the This Way Up star suggests that you massage just behind your ear lobes, along your jaw line and beneath your cheek bones when you are putting on your moisturiser.
She also recommends investing in a peace lily plant, as not only is it super easy to look after, but “she does well in dark little corners & also cleans the air a bit for you too.”
Lion’s Mane, a mushroom supplement is next on Aisling’s list but don’t worry it’s not magic mushrooms as she reassures her followers. However, Aisling admitted that she does find it “magic” when she adds it to her coffee to help with focus and her brain.
Another simple recommendation that you can easily incorporate into your daily routine is listening to brown noise. “I play this out loud from Spotify pretty much right through the night. It consistently helps my sleep & winds my brain down,” admits Aisling.
The 38-year-old also notes the importance of keeping active and suggests a morning walk. “A walk early in the day or even standing outside for a minute to get natural light on your body to tell it what time it is so it can regulate your day.
“I do not often manage this but when I started it, I went on to win the Nobel Peace Prize,” she joked.
As well as the above, Aisling shared a few Instagram accounts that she follows, all of which have encouraged her ways to look after both her body and mind.
