Aisling Bea is a comedian, an actress, a gas gal and now a mother.
She shared her pregnancy news in June of this year in her typical humorous style.
The comedian welcomed her baby in August but kept the little one’s sex and name under wraps.
Now she has confirmed if she is the mother of a little boy or girl as well as why she chose to keep her pregnancy under wraps.
Speaking about becoming a mother to Christine Lampard on Lorraine, she said: “There was a big competition worldwide, and it turns out my baby’s actually the best thing in the world.
“And it was actually only voted by me and my boyfriend, but yeah we’re really delighted with the award.”
She went on to say: “‘She’s the best that there’s ever been.”
Yes, Aisling is the proud mother to a baby girl!

She went on to open up about her decision to keep her pregnancy a secret she joked about not telling Christine when she appeared on the show in January.
“I was trying to keep it a secret. And I got away with it for a while too if it wasn’t for those pesky kids,” she joked, referencing Scooby Doo.
She went on to say: “‘I think especially when a lot of your life, you talk about a lot of your life in public, it’s like keeping something a little bit precious yourself that’s private and getting your head around.”
