Aishah Akorede has expressed her gratitude for reaching the Dancing with the Stars semi-finals.
Taking to Instagram, the former Miss Ireland took a moment to reflect on her journey so far as she prepares for Sunday night’s show.
“I am so grateful to be this far in the competition,” she gushed.
“Never in a million years did I think I’d be saying this… but we are in the semi-finals!

“No matter what happens next, this already feels like a win,” she added before thanking everyone for their love and support every week.
“I do tell people I’m not a popular person, even me winning Miss Ireland was against the odds.
“I’ve always been fighting for my place,” she added.

Aishah, unfortunately, once again found herself in last week’s dance off with Kevin Dundon.
But in the end it was Kevin who left the competition.
Can she do enough to make it all the way to the final? We’ll just have to wait and see…
