Aimee Connolly has had the most incredible year and it is certainly going to end on a high.
Not only will she be celebrating the festive season, Christmas Eve just so happens to be her birthday.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, she explains: “I have a very tiny family. We live here in Dublin, my aunties and uncle live in London.“
It won’t just be Christmas she’s celebrating, she will also be marking the milestone birthday.
“It’s my 30th this year on Christmas Eve, so it’s a big celebration. So we’re going to London for the free days over Christmas. Then come home and do some celebrations here.“
As she should.
Aimee is currently in the midst of planning her wedding after her partner John Greene popped the question.
“Myself and John have been together for eight years. So it wasn’t a big shock to anyone! But it’s lovely,” she told us with a laugh.
“I feel like anyone who has been engaged understands. When I posted I was engaged the amounts of lovely messages and everyone saying enjoy the bubble. That’s exactly what it is.
“I’ve never felt such an outpouring of love! If I knew this I would have gotten engaged three years ago. We’re in the midst of planning we’re both quite relaxed to our own detriment. Work has been very busy! We’ll figure it out.”
Despite the fact, she explained that she’s so laid back she’s horizontal when it comes to wedding plans she admits she’s “95 per cent there” already.
