Ailbhe Garrihy has opened up on Instagram about how she has found the juggle between work and motherhood, and she’s getting real about mom guilt.
One follower asked, “What stage of motherhood have you found the toughest if any?”, Ailbhe responded, “Since we reopened in May this year work has been mental ever since.
“I don’t think I anticipated how much of a juggle work and motherhood would be. When I’m working I have mom guilt and when I’m with Seán I have work guilt.
“I try to spend from 2pm- bedtime with Sean everyday, and then I’d work maybe till 11 at night. So I’m constantly wrecked.”
Ailbhe also revealed that she has some plans to wind down in the future though, a well deserved break is on the cards when work slows down a little.
When a follower asked how she feels about international travel, the influencer said, “Fine! We’re fully vaccinated so I think I’d be fairly relaxed. We’ve nothing booked yet. It’s peak season for Dublin Bay Cruises so I simply couldn’t head away at the moment. Would love to head somewhere in Sept/Oct tho”.
Baby Sean is the first child for Ailbhe and her husband, Ruaidri Hehir, and they welcomed him into the world in the midst of the pandemic.
Sharing a snap of her holding her son’s hand after he was born, Ailbhe said, “And just like that, our perfect baby boy Sean Hehir made his appearance. Beyond delighted with our little man.”
The couple recently celebrated Seán’s christening at a gorgeous lunch with the family.
