Ailbhe Garrihy has opened up about juggling work and motherhood, as she chatted with her followers in a Q&A on social media. The mother-of-one who works in PR and Marketing was asked by a follower; “Do you find it hard juggling motherhood and work?”
Responding she shared; “For sure. When I’m working I feel guilty for not being with Seán & when I’m not with Seán I feel guilty for not working!”
Continuing she added; “Now that he’s nearly 18 months we have a good routine going and I’m lucky that my work is flexible, so I’m with him from 3pm-ish on and then do some work when he goes to bed!”
Ailbhe and her husband Ruaidri Hehir announced the arrival of their first son in the August of 2020. Sharing a snap of her holding her son’s hand, Ailbhe said, “And just like that, our perfect baby boy Sean Hehir made his appearance. Beyond delighted with our little man.”
Since then she has often spoken about adjusting to becoming a mother for the first time as well as sharing tips and her experiences on social media.
The pair married in Doolin in 2019, surrounded by their closest friends and family, and the partying didn’t cease for days. Ailbhe stunned in three wedding dresses, for the wedding itself, Ailbhe looked radiant as ever in a boho style dress with lace detailing and capped sleeves.
Over the course of the weekend, she went on to wear another two stunning frocks.
Ailbhe’s bridesmaids who included her sister’s Aoibhin and Doireann wore sage colour skirts with an Aran style jumpers on top and looked absolutely beautiful, the outfit fit the fairy-tale vibe of the wedding weekend.
