Aideen Kate was delighted when her long-term partner, Dave, popped the question.
The makeup artist and beauty mogul is really relishing engaged life.
We caught up with Aideen to chat all about what life is like after the proposal, ahead of her taking to the stage at Life Sessions later this month.
“Engaged life has been amazing!” she enthuses with the biggest smile.
“It’s such a special time and it really does feel like a little bubble – we’ve so much to look forward to now and I’m just so excited.”
Aideen and Dave have been together for 10 years. So she admits that engaged life hasn’t changed too much about their relationship. But has going from a girlfriend to a fiancée made her feel more “grown up”?
“Hmm, I haven’t really thought about it but I guess I do!” she admits.
“We’ve been together for so long, so I feel like we’ve really just matured together over the last 10 plus years but I guess this now solidifies it!”

Of course, she’s been enjoying celebrating the big news with her friends and family over the last few weeks. And we had to ask what her go-to makeup look is when it comes to events.
“We have really milked the celebrating and we still have more to come!” she laughs.
“My go-to makeup look would defo be bronzed glowy skin and a simple smokey eye!”
