Congratulations are in order for Mayo star Aidan O’Shea and his wife, Kristin McKenzie-Vass.
The couple has welcomed their first child together.
They shared the good news just days into the new year with a sweet post on social media.
Kristin posted a black and white picture holding the newborn’s hand, announcing they had welcomed a baby girl.

She wrote: “Our best surprise yet,” alongside a series of pink love hearts.
The couple also shared their daughter’s unique name, Romee.
They were inundated with sweet messages after sharing their news.

“So excited to meet our Baba,” Kristin wrote as they soaked up the sun on the Greek island.

The couple were together for six years before Aidan popped the question in 2023 during a staycation.
They went on to celebrate their wedding last August with a ceremony in the glamorous five-star Muckross Park Hotel in Kerry.
They enjoyed a beautiful honeymoon in Capri before taking a second trip to Australia to continue their wedding celebrations.
Aidan is already a father to his 11-year-old daughter, Caragh, from a previous relationship.
