Adam King received a virtual hug from President Joe Biden

Late Late Toy Show star Adam King appeared on the season finale of the Late Late Show last night and revealed he has received a letter from the President of the United States.

After Adam’s appearance on the Late Late Toy Show, he stole the hearts of the nation with his inspiring personality and virtual hugs. He has made multiple appearances on the Late Late Show since and seemed the perfect guest to appear on the season finale, along with his family.

Adam revealed he had received a very exciting letter recently telling Ryan Tubridy that, “[He] got a letter from the President of the Unites States of America, called Joe Biden” because he was a “really important person”.

In the letter, which was read out by Adam’s older brother Danny, President Biden writes, “On St.Patricks Day your Taoiseach Micheál Martin told me about the great work you have been doing and most importantly, your virtual hugs. They are a wonderful symbol of hope and joy and have helped many people during these difficult times…

“Jill and I send a virtual hug from the White House to you, your mom and dad and your brothers and sisters.”

What a letter to get! Not only did President Joe Biden write the letter himself, but it was hand delivered by Taoiseach Micheál Martin.

That wasn’t the only moment of excitement for the King family on the show, Katie Taylor surprised the family with personalised Olympic packs and a signed poster for Adam. Katie praised Adam for being an inspiration and said, “you don’t need a gold medal to be a hero”. Katie also revealed that she plans to bring a virtual hug to her next fight.

What a lovely way to end the Late Late Show season, we are sure this won’t be the last time Adam makes an appearance.
