A mega fan of Jedward has revealed that she’s spent thousands of euro following the Lucan twins around the world.
Catia Sousa has been a huge fan of the singers ever since they appeared on the X Factor in 2009, and over the last eight years she has travelled as far as Los Angeles to see John and Edward perform.
Speaking to the Irish Sun the 22-year-old said that Jedward are very appreciative of their fans and take a genuine interest in them. Catia even got to spend some time with the lads in Dublin last Saturday, ahead of their appearance on The Ray D’Arcy Show.
“They are so good. On Saturday, they spent from 3pm to 8.30pm just hanging with their fans. They know my name and everything about me. It feels like we’re friends but obviously it’s not a full on friendship. We don’t have sleepovers or anything!
“But they take an interest in me and chat to me about themselves. They are just very normal and down to earth.
“I went to LA three times to see them. Twice last year and once in 2015. They have a condo there so they’re there a lot.
“Believe it or not, it was a failure because I didn’t see them. I contacted them to say I was there but I didn’t want to sound crazy. I just turned the trip in a holiday so it was okay,” she said.
She’s dedicated, we’ve got to give her that!
