Following her hysterectomy surgery, singer Sinead O’Connor has taken to social media with a desperate plea for help.
As she recovers from her operation, Sinead has begged her friends on Facebook to come visit her in her Bray home.
The Nothing Compares 2 U posted: “Very badly in need of friends who might be able to come stay for week or so,” she wrote.
“Am very unwell after surgery. Family situation and business situation all very overwhelming.”
She added: “Been alone and dealing with all things alone. Need friends and support. Things to sort which are unmanageable.”
“If any of my friends are out there and could come crash for a while and help me out can you get in touch? I’ve lost phones and devices so often I can’t find anyone’s number.”
The controversial musician has been suffering with gynecological problems for the last three years, and announced last month she would be undergoing a hysterectomy,
Fans and followers of the 48-year-old singer have teamed up to offer her support, with one writing: “Aww. Sorry to hear. I do post op care and emotional support for my job and would be happy to care for you. I live in Canada but a quick flight there.”
It’s not been an easy year for Sinead, after her son was diagnosed with a “life threatening illness”, which led her to cancel her tour over the summer.
