It appears that Hozier has an admirer in Australian actress Margot Robbie, after the blonde beauty revealed that she is a huge fan of the singer. The pair worked together on the new Legend of Tarzan film.
In an interview with RTE Ten Margot admitted to being delighted when she heard the news of Hozier’s involvement with the film, saying that “it was the most exciting thing in the world.”
“When I heard Hozier was doing the song for this I could have died. I am a massive fan of him.
“Funnily enough, it was when we were shooting Tarzan in 2014 that I was absolutely obsessed with his album for the first time and we went to his gig while we were shooting and it’s just so weird that he’s now doing the song for it,” she said.
The 26-year-old, who plays Jane in the film remake, continued to gush about Bray native Hozier, saying that he is “the nicest guy in the world.”
Hozier wrote his newest single, Better Love for the flick and it plays as the end credits. The singer admitted that he found having a 4-week deadline for the track tough, but in the end it was “an absolute joy”.
The Legend of Tarzan is in films nationwide now.
