Suzanne Jackson has revealed to fans that she will be discontinuing her SoSu by SJ fashion line, just four months after it launched.
Although the range, comprised of classy blazers, fitted jeans and cute tops, was popular with women around Ireland, the blogger explained that it will not be restocked because she simply cannot devote the amount of time necessary for the project, as well as focus on her ever expanding beauty range.
Speaking on Snapchat Suzanne said, “I have always wanted to do fashion but I am a beauty girl at heart. I was trained in beauty, I’ve worked in beauty, and it’s what I know.
“I started the fashion line a long time before it went live Christmas and I worked tirelessly on the project. It was really exciting, I really really enjoyed doing it but I’m only one person and I can’t possibly do fashion and beauty.
“So I was coming up against a brick wall where I was trying to focus my energy on fashion, trying to focus my energy on beauty, and I just couldn’t focus on one thing 200%.
“And you guys know me, I put 500% into everything I do, and everything I bring to market I can put my hand on my heart and say it’s amazing. But when your focus is divided I just didn’t want to let the ball drop with either fashion or beauty so I had to choose.
“It sounds so dramatic but that’s the way it is in business, and I’m always as honest and open with you guys as I possibly can be and right now I’ve chosen beauty.”
The Dubliner certainly has her hands full with her beauty empire, with plans to open a full store by 2019.
