Last night saw Ronan Keating and Yvonne Connolly’s daughter Missy audition in front of the judges on The Voice UK.
The daughter of the famous Boyzone singer took to the stage with singing partner and friend Georgia Gaffney, singing a rendition of hit song Forget You by Ceelo Green – but unfortunately it wasn’t to be for the two 17-year-olds.
“My family has inspired us so much,” Missy said before the performance.
” I’ve grown up around music, my dad Ronan being in Boyzone. He was my age when he started so I just want to start my career now and get a move on.”
Despite judges Olly Murs, Sir Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson and Will.I.Am failing to turn, the pair certainly impressed viewers at home with their unique take on the song.
Speaking after the performance, the girls remained as upbeat as ever! ” We got up and we did it. Look how far we came.”
