RTE star Maura Derrane looked proud as punch today as she showed off her gorgeous son for the first time.
And although it was the tv presenter’s first introduction of her baby boy to the media, little Cal proved he’s already a natural.
The tot, who will turn one later this month, beamed at the cameras and looked positively adorable in his tiny jeans, white runners, polo shirt and jacket.
Meanwhile, his 44-year-old mum looked happy and relaxed as she posed with her only child in a camel jumper, cerise pink coat and grey trousers.
The pair were making a rare public appearance for the ‘1000 Days’ campaign which encourages parents of toddlers to include the optimal amount of nutrients such as Iron and Vitamin D in their diet.
“We will celebrate Cal’s first birthday in a couple of weeks and it has been a joy to see him develop and grow from a tiny baby to the strong, healthy and happy toddler that he is becoming,” Maura commented.
Maura welcomed her son with husband Fine Gael TD John Deasy almost a year ago.
She recently spoke out that she has no regrets about having a baby aged 43.
