Actress Leigh Arnold has posted a beautiful tribute to her baby boy Flynn, who tragically passed away from cot death in 2013 when he was just two weeks old.
The Clinic star recently opened up to VIP about the heartbreak her and husband Steve Davies experienced from their loss, confessing that she has now acquired a ‘hard’ shell as a result of the grief.
“You realise what matters and who matters in life,” she told us.
“I don’t like being hard but I’ve become a bit hard. When you hear people crying ‘I’m so depressed because I haven’t got a boyfriend…Oh for God’s sake! This isn’t a problem! You have the power to change this. I don’t have the power to bring my son back.”
Taking to Twitter last night, the Foxrock native posted a sweet message in memory of her son, to coincide with Infant Loss Remembrance Day.
“No words will ever be able to describe how much I love and miss you my baby boy. Always and forever your mummy x,” she wrote.
Leigh also took to Instagram to share a poignant picture which read: “A Mother is not defined by the number of children you see, but by the love that she holds in her heart.”
The mother-of-two recently a patron of FirstLight to help support other parents who have lost children to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
