Jedward’s mum has leapt to the defence of her sons following another scathing attack by CBB housemate Nicola McLean.
Susanna Grimes was forced to speak up for her twin boys after the former glamour model launched a tirade on the Lucan natives, labeling them “robotic” and “emotionless”, after she misinterpreted a comment they made.
John and Edward told Nicola she looked “different” when she didn’t wear make-up, and she took this to mean that they were insulting her appearance and proceeded to reprimand them, before storming off to the Diary Room to vent about the twins.
“I just don’t like f*****g living with them.” she said.
“Yeah, I think they’re mean-spirited to be honest. They know what they’re doing, they’re just trying to dig at you, they’re trying to provoke a reaction and maybe I always give it to them.”
Jedward’s adoring mother and manager, Susanne appeared on Big Brother’s Bit On The Side last night to defend her twin sons, and claimed they’d been mistreated by their housemates.
“Jedward are not irritating!” she said.
“In the midst of ferocious arguments in the house, Jedward are being themselves and bringing good vibes. Jedward have been stereotyped, verbally abused and shouted down in the house and not been allowed to explain themselves.”
