X Factor hopeful, Janet Grogan has been axed from the X Factor after failing to be chosen for the live shows by Sharon Osbourne.
This will come as a double blow to the Irish singer, as it is her second time getting cut from the show.
Back in 2014, Janet succeeded in getting through to the Six Chair Challenge, only to be swapped for another contestant last minute by Simon Cowell.
The Dublin native returned to the show with a vengeance this year and has wowed judges with her performances so far –but it seems Sharon, who’s mentoring the over 25s category, didn’t have the enough confidence in her to take her through to the live shows.
Before the final decision was made Janet said, “It would be really hard to go home and tell everyone I didn’t get through, especially my mum and dad.”
The lifeguard shared a video on Instagram saying that although she’s disappointed she’s not going anywhere!
She may not have made it through to the live shows but we don’t think this is the last we’ll see of Janet!
