Former Xpose presenter Aisling O’Loughlin is reportedly seeking “independent advice” after the shock announcement that she will not be returning to the show.
Aisling was on maternity when she learned that she was being removed from her hosting duties.
The Irish Sun has now revealed that the 38-year-old has yet to agree on a new role at TV3, and that she’s seeking “independent advice” over the treatment of her removal.
A source at Xpose told the newspaper that, “Cassie and Ruth were supposed to be covering maternity leave for Karen (Koster) and Aisling (O’Loughlin). But now it looks like they are replacing Lisa (Cannon) and Aisling.
“Staff are asking if Aisling is gone from TV3 or what is her new role? And if there is a new position offered to her, is it equal to what she was doing on Xpose?”
Aisling is just one of three presenters who will not be returning to the TV3 programme. Lisa Cannon and Peter O’Riordan are also no longer on the panel.
Lisa already has a new job in place, as she will be filling in for Anna Daly on Saturday and Sunday AM while she goes on maternity leave.
