Last night’s Living With Lucy was a big hit with viewers, as this week saw Lucy Kennedy moving in with energetic twins, John and Edward Grimes.
The TV3 star stayed with the Lucan lads in their Dublin apartment for three days, and fans got to see a side to Jedward that they’ve never seen before.
The 25-year-old singers were still as wild as ever, but they were very caring towards heavily pregnant Lucy, telling her that they would make sure nothing happened to her during her stay. They also showed their vulnerable side when speaking to the the presenter about their experience with bullying.
In a candid moment the boys said, “In school people would say stuff about us from afar, and make up stuff about us. We were excluded from parties…we never got into that scene because we were never invited in the first place.
“Even still we’re being bullied by people. Everyday life is people looking down on you. Throughout our whole life there has always been someone there picking on us. Even when we got such harsh media, when we reached fame it was nothing to us because it’s always been in our face.”
Viewers took to Twitter to express how much they loved watching Jedward, and this week’s episode in general. A number of Irish celebs including Glenda Gilson and Mary Byrne even had their say.
It seems that the nation have fallen in love with Jedward again. We certainly did anyway!
