Comedian Al Porter takes up his newest role as Today FM presenter today. The Tallaght native is changing the face of lunchtime radio, fronting his own show on the station from 12-2:30pm every week day.
His show will cover the subjects of light entertainment and music, and will be driven by both presenter and listener stories. Al is naturally hilarious and fans are already loving him on the airwaves.
The 23-year-old shared a pic of himself in the hot seat on social media, and listeners were quick to leave comments wishing Al luck, and congratulating him on the opportunity. TV3 presenter Lucy Kennedy even left a sweet message of support for the star.
