While it wouldn’t be something many people tend to do in the middle of the night, Colin Farrell has admitted he loves to go on late night drives around Dublin when he’s in the city.
The actor said he enjoys going back to his childhood home in Dublin, especially in the dead of night when he can be alone.
The Dubliner admitted that whenever he’s back in Ireland, he likes to go to his parents house in Castleknock and simply sit outside and think.
Speaking earlier in the week, Colin said, “I drive back to Castleknock at maybe two o’clock in the morning and park outside my house as if I am in my own self-indulgent film.”
While he only ever sits outside the house – which is slightly creepy – the current owners told The Sunday World that he’s more than welcome to go in for a cuppa if he fancies it.
“He’s welcome to come in anytime,” said Oisinn.
He might just take them up on that offer, as the star will be back in Dublin very soon to film a new movie about Ireland’s homeless football team.
