After months of speculation, Conor McGregor has officially confirmed he is expecting his first child with long-time love Dee Devlin.
The Notorious made the announcement at his post-fight press conference after he beat Eddie Alvarez and became the first fighter hold two UFC belts simultaneously.
A few weeks ago, the Crumlin native revealed that he would be making a big announcement after the match – and early this morning he told fans the exciting news is that he’s set to become a father early next year.
“I’ve a few announcements, one announcement is that I’m going to be a daddy early next year,” he said.
“I’m crapping my jocks I’m not going to lie. I don’t even know what way to take it, it’s going to mess with my head because I don’t want to bring a child into anything like this,”
“I don’t want no little celebrity type sh**e, I hate that. I don’t want my family to be like that.”
He also confirmed he will be taking a little time off when his newborn arrives.
“That’s a little thing that’s in my head. I’m going to have this baby, take a little time and see what way I feel after that.” he said.
When asked the due date he replied saying, “March. Is it March? It’s not May is it? I thought it was March… what the f**k.”
Congratulations, Conor and Dee!
