Following the destruction of hurricane Ophelia throughout the country, another storm is on the way later this week.
Yesterday, three people lost their lives, thousands of euro worth of damage was caused and almost a quarter of a million people were left without power.
While there’ll be a massive clean-up nationwide over the coming days, people should be aware of another storm set to rage towards Ireland.
Storm Brian is set to hit Ireland over the weekend, particularly Friday and Saturday.
According to TV3’s Deric Hartigan, the storm will have “similar low pressure intensity as Ophelia.”

He also said, “Path/Track also uncertain so all very changeable. Poss hit UK more-so, will keep a very close eye.
“It’s still very early days in terns of another storm system, but will monitor closely.”
