It seems that tv star Laura Whitmore has been spotted on a bit of a date with none other than her ex boyfriend Danny O’Reilly.
The handsome couple went their separate ways in 2012 but remained close after splitting, and this seemed to still be the case when they were seen together yesterday.
Bray native Laura and The Coronas frontman met for lunch in London, with the presenter’s tiny pooch Mick in tow, and then later the pair went strolling through nearby Primrose hill.
The sun was out and the newly turned 30-year-old looked in great spirits and even better shape, showing off her gorgeous legs in a small denim dress.
The twosome looked happy and very comfortable together, and of course their public appearance has sparked rumours about a possible reconciliation.
This flame was further ignited when Laura later posted a snap on Instagram showing her little dog being spoon fed by a mystery man’s hand.
We think Dubliner Danny would probably be up for a reunion as he’s been quite open in the past about his heartbreak following their split. He previously spoke out about how being on tour and writing songs helped alleviate his pain from the break-up.
“Even though all the songs were about the person I just had broken up with, it was still okay,” he told the An Irishman Abroad podcast.
“I would have moments like that where I was a bit emotional for a bit of a song. But you get on with it and thankfully the gig gets you through it.”
The pair sparked rumours of getting back together in 2013 also when they were photographed having a romantic smooch.
We quite like this pair here in VIP Towers and wouldn’t mind seeing them hooking back up. Although if we were Laura and had a shot with Paolo Nutini who she was recently linked to, it might be a different story…
