Well-known faces step out for launch of NearlySisters store

Gillian Quinn and Aisling Quinn

Long-time followers of online gifting brand NearlySisters were in for a treat this week as founders, Nic Hennessy and Sue Walsh opened the doors to their very first store in Newbridge, Co Kildare.

Showcasing a myriad of exquisite Irish brands and crafts, the new store offers a diverse range of gifts that can be lovingly presented to everyone on your Christmas list.

The launch event was hosted by Sue’s husband Keith Walsh, while RTE 2FM DJ Fionnuala Moran took to the decks.

Customers can hand-select their gifts in-store and NearlySisters can wrap them to take away, or if desired, they can be shipped directly from the store to the recipient.

Spotted at the opening included names such as Gillian and Aisling Quinn, Brian Redmond and his wife Jennifer, Roxanne Parker, Mandy Maher, Crona Byrne, Andrea Hayes, Tara O Connor, Rugby Player Sam Prendergast as well as Sarah McDermott and Danielle O Brien.
