Paul Costelloe has nothing but praise for America’s first lady, Melania Trump, and credits her for bringing a touch of glamour back to the White House.
Former model, Melania has been impressing at the style stakes ever since her inaugural appearance as first lady last month – and her impeccable style hasn’t gone unnoticed by Paul.
The top Irish fashion designer believes she’s the most fashionable first lady in the white house since Jackie Kennedy held the title in the 1960s.
“I think as a First Lady, Melania is probably the most glamorous since Jackie Kennedy. She will set trends as First Lady. She likes strong colours that work well,” he told the Irish Independent.
“For the inauguration, I liked the colour of the Ralph Lauren number and I thought she looked comfortable in it.”
Paul admires Melania’s unique style, and believes she knows how to dress for her body shape.
“I think she definitely has her own individual style,” he said. “Melania isn’t the slimmest person in the world, but she wears everything very well. She was a model so she has good posture. She’s certainly Donald’s trophy wife, and she behaves accordingly.”
