We were looking through the archives here in VIP Towers and stumbled upon these beauties from the Smart Telecom TVNow Awards from way back when.
On a sunny Saturday evening in April 2006, the hottest stars of the moment from both Ireland and the UK arrived at Dublin’s Mansion House for a stunning black tie event.
Some of the Irish celebs who turned up on the night were Lorraine Keane, Aisling O’Loughlin, Elaine Crowely, Caroline Morahan and Claire Byrne who won the award for Favourite Irish Newsreader on the night.
Lucy Kennedy turned up in place of Podge and Rodge and picked up the award for favourite Irish TV show, while Louis Walsh was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Top photographer Jenny McCarthy supported her hubby Martin King as he won a gong for Favourite Weather Presenter on the night, and Derek Mooney went home with an award for the Favourite Male TV Presenter.
It was certainly an exciting night on the Irish showbiz calendar, and we’re loving all the throwback pics from the event!
