Suzanne Jackson has released an emotional statement regarding the negativity surrounding influencers and bloggers.

In recent weeks, some online accounts have called into question how much bloggers are editing their images.

Top blogger Suzanne initially labelled the comments as ‘bullying’, but has now said she is trying to remain positive.

She also said that much of what is being written is false.

In an emotional statement addressed to her followers, she said:

“I am a firm believer in remaining positive and not letting myself be affected by negativity.

“On this occasion, I feel I have to speak out for myself and reassure you, the true, supportive caring followers, that a lot of what is been written and posted online is untrue.”

The Dubliner added that she takes particular issue with the comments which are affecting her nearest and dearest.

“Unfortunately being in the public eye, it has its ups and downs which I accept. You take the good with the bad. But I will not allow people to force untrue information onto my followers. It’s not only extremely upsetting for me but also my family and team.”

She added: “I love knowing that I inspire people daily and for that reason, I want to share with you that sometimes the testing situations will arise. And like me, you have to power through. Thank you to those who believe in me, my products and brands.”

Many of Sue’s 230k followers sent her messages of support.

“You’re amazing you know you’re doing something right when people try to bring you down. You’re above them and they know it. Its sad people can’t be happy and encouraging to others, your work and achievements speak for itself keep being the amazing powerhouse you are,” one loyal fan said.

Another added: “People can be very nasty when jealousy takes hold. Keep up the great work.”
