RTE’s Say Yes to the Dress Ireland is looking for brides-to-be to take part in the second series.

The Irish version of the hit show began this year and proved to be a hit with viewers.

Now, a second season is due to take place and they are looking for engaged women to take part.

In a statement from the show producers, they said: “This new ten-part series, Say Yes to the Dress – Ireland will air on RTÉ2 in early 2018. This series will be filmed in a brand new Irish bridal store, stocked with amazing dresses from all over the world. Cameras will follow brides through the bridal salon as they try all the styles and colours and face their friends and family in the hope that they can Say Yes to the Dress.

“Are you a bride to be looking for your dream dress? Look no further because our team of experts are here to guide and advise you every step of the way.

“We want to hear from all brides: big and small budgets, traditional and non-traditional and those who’ve already searched high and low and those who are only beginning.

“Young, old, short or tall – if you’re searching for the ultimate gown and would love to find one while being filmed, then Say Yes to the Dress wants you to get in touch.”

Presenter of the show Peter Kelly, aka Franc, recently spoke to VIP about the show.

When asked about why he loves the concept, Franc said: “Well, how it is fun, but also serious, in that the women are spending a huge amount of money on the dress, probably the most they’ll ever spend on a gown in their life, so they really do want to find a dress that they feel good in and that represents them and their personality.

“What’s nice is that when they do find it, it’s a very emotional moment.”
