The sad news of the death of Robin Twist, stepfather of Harry Styles emerged yesterday.
The 57-year-old, who was married to Harry’s mum Anne, passed away after battling cancer.
“Harry’s stepfather, Robin Twist, sadly passed away this week after a long battle with cancer. The family asks for privacy at this time,” Styles’ family said in a statement.
Niall Horan, Harry’s One Direction bandmate led the tributes to Robin, posting a heartfelt message to Harry and his family on social medial.
“Very sad to hear about the loss of Robin . For those who had the pleasure of knowing Robin will know that he was the nicest , kindest, most generous, hilariously funny guy you’ll have met.” Niall posted on instagram, underneath a picture of Robin and his wife Anne.
“He always had a smile on his face even when he was battling the terrible illness. Love ya H. Please give your mum and the rest of the family a massive hug from my family.”
Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson also posted their condolences to the Styles’ family.
