“My husband thinks moving in with famous strangers is beyond odd” Lucy Kennedy

IFTA Gala TV Awards 2018

Lucy Kennedy has admitted that her nearest and dearest don’t quite get the concept of her reality show.

Living with Lucy is now its fifth season and viewers will agree it’s gone from strength the stength.

However, not everyone is on board with Lucy’s sleepovers, as the star admits it baffles her hubby Richard Governey.

“My husband and best friends think it’s beyond odd, the fact that I’m so comfortable moving in with not only strangers but famous strangers.”

“Sleeping in their beds, using their loo, their showers, borrowing shampoo. But I’m comfortable around anybody,” she told Irish Country Magazine.

While her other half may not be into the idea of it, Lucy told VIP Magazine recently that her son was very impressed with one guest.

“Jack loved Shane Long, he was like ‘Mommy you’re living with a footballer!’ they don’t care about anyone else,” she joked.

“Unless I live with Louis Walsh because Ireland Got Talent, is now on their radar. They think it’s really cool that I know Jason Byrne, I’ve now become a cool mum.”

In this series so far, Lucy has lived with Nathan Carter, Gemma Collins and Christy Dignam, and tonight she’ll be bunking with transgender boxing promoter Kellie Maloney.
