Lucy Kennedy gives insight into new season of Living with Lucy

If there’s one thing Lucy Kennedy knows how to do, it’s getting celebrities to open up and showcase what they’re really like behind all the glitz and glam with her much-loved show, Living with Lucy.

This season, the TV and radio presenter is set to live with Katie Price, Simon Gregson, who plays Steve in Coronation Street, RTÉ GAA presenter Des Cahill and former Ireland international and football pundit, Richie Sadlier.

While Lucy previously lived with the likes of Barry Keoghan, Davy Fitzgerald, Paul Gascoigne and Christy Dignam.

Speaking to the Independent at the Virgin Media’s autumn schedule launch, Lucy teased what viewers can expect from the highly anticipated new season.

“Living in the Mucky Mansion for three days was very full on,” she said about Katie Price’s West Sussex mansion which was given the nickname after being broken into and flooded by vandals in 2020.

“I have to tell you I really like Katie Price. She’s great craic, she’s got an Irish sense of humour but she’s very confident and outspoken,” Lucy continued.

However, the presenter also saw a different side to her, adding: “She walks around with no socks on. She’s very casual. That surprised me.”

“She’s more comfortable in her own skin than people think.”

Simon Gregson on the other hand she absolutely adored, while when it came to the likes of Des Cahill and Richie Sadlier, Lucy admitted that her lack of knowledge about sport proved difficult for her when interviewing the pair of them.

Of course, one of her standout moments over the years was living with Barry Keoghan and being there when he received that life-changing phone call from Marvel.

“He said ‘How do I know you won’t tell anyone,” Lucy shared.

And after agreeing to keep his secret, the pair decided to celebrate in the most Irish way possible – by grabbing a beer. Love it!
