Valentine’s Day is nearly upon us, and for many of us it can be fairly stressful trying to come up with something to do on the day, whether you’re in a relationship or living the single life.

The market is on from 12pm-5pm, but the pub stays open late.

The Liquor Rooms are fulfilling every scorned woman’s fantasy this Saturday night. The bar will be serving up delicious cocktails, as usual – but this for one night only, you can bring a photo of your ex to gain free admission. They’ll also have a swap shop, so you can tie yourself of old gifts from your ex. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned…

5. Dirty Dancing at The Odeon

If all else fails, you can always count on Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey to put a smile on your face. The Odeon cinemas in in Coolock, Limerick, Newbridge, Point Village, Stillorgan and Waterford are showing Dirty Dancing next Tuesday – and whether you’re single or in a relationship, this is bound to please everyone. Tickets cost €5 and you can sing, laugh and cry along to one of the best films of all time this Valentine’s Day.
