The Easter holidays are upon us, and it can be hard to find things to fill the days.

Lucky for you, we at VIP have found a number of events happening across Ireland this Easter to keep everyone happy!

If you’re looking for some last-minute things to do, here are 5 family friendly activities to get stuck into:

The Easter Express at Oakfield Park, County Donegal

Donegal’s biggest Easter egg hunt is back from the 29th of March to the 1st of April.

Follow the trail through the magical grounds, take a train ride, play games, meet Easter characters and attend a disco at the end. It’s a day jam-packed full of activities that are sure to tire anyone out.

To take part, get tickets on the Oakfield Park website.

Fota Island Wildlife Park is always a great place to visit with kids, and this Easter is a particularly good time.

You can feed the animal of your choice and learn some fun facts about them on a wildlife talk, which will be available to partake in every day until April 7th.

Lough Key Forest and Activity Park, County Roscommon

Lough Key is the perfect day out for an active family, or if you think you should appreciate the outdoors a bit more!

Choose from ziplining, boat tours, electric cycle routes, and a Swedish escape room-like activity called a Boda Borg for older kids.

There are nature walks and fairy trails for little ones, along with a cafe and picnic area. It’s a perfect day out to get fresh air for the whole family.

There will be a DJ on the lawn and kids’ disco with a very special appearance from the Easter Bunny. There will also be face painting, arts and crafts, egg hunts, special talks from the keepers on the zoo’s bunnies, and lots more.
