On a recent cover shoot for VIP, the Ireland’s Fittest Family presenter rocked the perfect soft wavy look as she posed with her beautiful little baby, Ellie.
We spoke to Norma-Jean O’Reilly from Brown Sugar salon, who did Kathryn’s hair for the shoot to get some tips on how to recreate the look!
“I just love a Bohemian wave in Kathyrn’s hair,” says Norma-Jean.
“This works best especially with her one-length blunt bob; it creates texture and movement. I prepped the hair with L’Oreal Professional Paris TechniArt Pli Styling Spray.
“I then blow dried the hair smooth with the LanaiBLO dryer and I used a 25cm FARO professional hairbrush to smooth out the hair (both brands are Irish companies)
“I used a GHD to wave the hair, waving the hair away from the face. I then shook it all out, dishevelled it with my hands and sprayed it using L’Oreal Stylista The Beach Wave Mist Salt Spray topped off with L’Oreal Professional Infinium Hairspray, creating a sexy boho wave which will take you from day to night,”
